Your First Visit

your first visit image Your first visit to the doctor typically includes an evaluation by the doctor, as well as an x-ray that allows the doctor to view the structure of the jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, malformed roots, and tooth decay.

The initial visit also involves getting your medical history. When you share your medical history with the doctor, it is important to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health. Inform the doctor if you have experienced recent hospitalization or surgery, or if you have recently been ill. Also tell the doctor the names, doses, and frequency of any medications you are taking, whether prescription or over-the-counter products, and the name of your primary care physician. If you are an existing patient, please inform the doctor and staff of any changes in your health, medications, insurance, address, or phone numbers.

Consultation

After the doctor has evaluated your condition, we will discuss your personalized treatment plan with you in detail, including the cost for your particular case.

Appointments

We understand that life changes rapidly and you may need to reschedule an appointment. If this occurs, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may extend our scheduling options to others in need. If you do not have an appointment but feel it is an emergency, please call us and we will schedule you in for a same-day emergency appointment at one of our locations. If you feel your injuries are life threatening, please dial 911.

Payment Options

Cost

The cost of your treatment depends on the diagnosis and treatment plan. After your initial consultation, we will explain our services, fees, and any insurance benefits you may have. We work hard to make your care affordable, so please do not hesitate to bring up any financial concerns.

Fees

We are happy to provide you with your estimate of fees prior to treatment. Payment is expected on the day of service. We accept Visa and MasterCard, and multiple payment plans through Care Credit are also available. Please talk with our office manager for more details.

Insurance

We accept most medical & dental insurance plans, but please confirm coverage with your insurance prior to treatment. Most dental and/or medical insurance plans pay a portion of your bill. Your co-payment and deductible amount is expected on the day of your procedure. We will work on our patient's behalf with the insurance company to ensure your medical insurance benefits are received.
